What is a modular BioLab?
BioLab is a modular production facility based on a 20-foot ISO container. The configuration is developed around the selected organism, the intended production capacity and the conditions at the installation site.
What can the project include?
The project can include BioLab modules, rearing technology, production equipment, team training and ongoing support. The scope of supply, quality-control routines and responsibilities are agreed for each project.
Who are these production projects for?
Projects are intended for businesses developing local biocontrol production, greenhouse operators and distributors planning their own supply. The production plan should reflect the crops, customers and demand the facility will serve.
Which species and production capacity are available?
Species and capacity are agreed individually after reviewing the request. A project concerns selected beneficial insects or predatory mites; suitability for a particular organism must be confirmed before equipment and technology are specified.
How do I request a production project?
Write to a@investbio.net with the species you want to rear, the country, the intended use, the required production volume and information about the proposed site. These details provide a starting point for discussing the technology, facility configuration and scope of support.
